Groove into spring and come watch the musical chameleon, Tom Misch, live in Berlin or Köln! The composer, guitarist, violinist, singer-songwriter, producer and DJ is just 22 and has been killing the game since he was 16. With J Dilla as a huge inspiration, he is the type of artist that successfully pulls from loads of different genres to create that trademark Tom Misch style. His sound revolves around disco, soul, hip-hop, funk, and jazz; he creates a genre fluidity that stays true to his own sound.

„Misch sounds like an artist who has trawled through the naffer sides of some record collections, then combined what he’s found with a love of J Dilla to forge something that speaks to young people.“

After seeing him live at Luxor in Köln last spring, I knew I had to get my hands on tickets to see him again. He has a positive and high energy show full of surprise guests, a solid band, and dancing all night long. His eagerly awaited album, Geography, drops April 6th on his own label Beyond The Groove / Cobalt Music Recordings. He features guests like Loyle Carner, De La Soul, both of his sisters Polly and Laura Misch, and GoldLink. The guests just add another layer to the album’s eclectic sound he is known for creating. So come join us at one of his live shows this week in Germany to preview some of the highly anticipated tunes from his new album, Geography.
